Reflexology

Reflexology

Reflexology is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ear correspond with different areas of the body.

Reflexologists believe that working these areas, by applying pressure with their fingers and knuckles, aids relaxation and helps improve wellbeing.

Deep relaxation and a reduction in stress can bring an improved sense of wellbeing and this can mean more simply the absence of illness. It also includes an improved frame of mind, improves sleep, better relationships and increased happiness.

As holistic practitioners reflexologists are there to support you as a whole person and promote your wellbeing. Reflexologists do not diagnose, prescribe or cure. To gain a fuller picture of a clients lifestyle, and to ensure the client is suitable for treatment, a full medical history will be taken and a consent form agreeing to the treatment requires to be signed.  This information will be confidential and will adhere to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations).

Each person reacts differently to a treatment, however most commonly people experience relaxation, improved mood and general wellbeing.
